Our home in Arnold, California is four minutes away from a quiet village type setting with shopping, health center, medical facilities, laundromats, restaurants and more. Many weekend activities are always available. The sierra Nevada Logging Museum is open to the public
Tall Cedars, Pines and Oaks surround our home. Leave right from the house and hike through the Stanislaus National forest on foot or experience some of the best mountain biking that Northern California offers.
Our vacation home is the entire 1,000 square foot 2nd floor and comprises a master bedroom, 2nd bedroom, bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen and a 10 x 36 foot deck facing the lake. Our home is nonsmoking. Well behaved pets, large and small are accepted.
The kitchen is fully furnished and ready for cooking and entertaining. It includes all dishes and utensils for preparing meals or banquets. It includes a microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, coffee maker, stove and refrigerator.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed, cable TV and VCR. The second bedroom has loft bed with a double on the bottom and a single on the top. The bathroom is a tub with a shower.
The living room has three recliners and a queen size hide-a-bed. It also includes cable TV, VCR, stereo, games and magazines. The electric fireplace is ready for ambiance. The home is heated and cooled by forced air.
Lakemont Pines lake is across the street from our home. It offers sandy beaches, paddle boat rentals, playground, snack bar. fishing, swimming and non motorized boating lake with a lifeguard on duty in summer months. The use of the lake is maintained by membership tags and is available for your use.
Beautiful Bear Valley is 20 minutes away with additional hiking, mountain biking, snow mobiles, downhill skiing, ice skating and cross country skiing.

Check-in time is 3:00 P.M. Check-out time is 11, with no exceptions.
If NO ONE has reserved after you, you may stay the afternoon for an additional $25.00. If you wish to ski, or spend time attending the many different functions that are going on in the area, you should check-out before you go. We have hired people to open and close the homes on our rental program and they have a schedule to keep for arrivals and departures.
RESERVATIONS:
A security deposit is required, without exception. All phone reservations will be held for a maximum of seven (7) working days. If your deposit has not been received during that time period, your reservation will be considered unconfirmed and the home will be booked for the next party requesting it.
Once we have received your deposit, we will send you a confirmation form specifying your arrival and departure dates.

Friday and Saturday nights, $125 per night
Sunday thru Thursday nights, $100 per night
2 night minimum except holidays
3 night minimum for holidays
Special Holiday Rental Rates for Christmas week through New Years week, Martin Luther King, President"s Weekend
$175.00 Security Deposit required at time of reservation and is additional to rental charge. Security deposit is refundable when the house is inspected
$50 Security Deposit for pets
$75 fee for taxes, electical and sanitizing
$5 per day for pets
Cancellations:
If you cancel your reservation twenty-one (21) days prior to your arrival date, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel twenty (20), you will receive 75% of your deposit back. If you cancel seven (7) days after the cancellation period, you will forfeit the full deposit.
